Senior Solution Consultant – Business Analyst

📋 Description

• The Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect serves as a dual-impact leader in both presales and delivery, tasked with shaping, scoping, and aligning intricate engagements to set federal customers up for sustainable success as a trusted advisor.

• This position directs architectural strategy from the initial solutioning phase through to execution, ensuring that mission-critical programs are structured to yield measurable outcomes.

• Review and adjust project/program direction, approach, and essential artifacts to ensure programs stay on course and solutions remain both extendable and maintainable in the future.

• Drive a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies to facilitate technologies, including the Salesforce platform.

• Identify and spearhead internal strategic initiatives to enhance the consulting practice; actively contribute to the community’s overall knowledge base and expertise.

• Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and implementing emerging technologies that enhance business value.

• Collaborate effectively and demonstrate strong communication skills, particularly in conveying complex concepts and engaging in creative, prescriptive thinking across various levels of a client organization.

• Identify and proactively manage risk areas, committing to resolve issues completely.

• Expertise in Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy, translating current-state complexities into clear target-state designs, closing capability gaps, and delivering solutions that facilitate the achievement of critical business and mission outcomes.

• Experience in leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed system and functional designs.

• Proficiency in documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc., alongside making recommendations for improved future state processes and system designs.

• Strong presentation skills; capable of effectively conveying a point of view and clearly articulating the rationale to a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in developing materials suitable for the audience.

• An attentive listener who can connect with individuals in various roles.

• Resourceful and innovative thinker adept at navigating and solving problems.

• Experience will be assessed based on the core competencies relevant to the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer positions, work experience, etc.).

• Background in public sector digital transformation initiatives.

• Ability to effectively convey and persuade customers regarding best practices at various levels within a large organization.

• Background in application design and development.

• Act as a trusted advisor to the client.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of FIVE (5) years of professional experience.

• Bachelor's degree (Relevant experience may substitute for formal education or an advanced degree).

• Experience in enterprise architecture or consulting on the Salesforce Platform throughout its entire life cycle with proven and demonstrable success.

• Drive a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies to enable technologies including the Salesforce platform.

• Selected candidates may be required to travel up to 25%.

• U.S. citizenship is contractually required.
