This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Direct strategic customer interactions throughout the entire sales lifecycle, concentrating on fraud, risk, and payment optimization strategies.
• Convert merchant challenges (such as fraud losses, false declines, and conversion gaps) into data-centric value propositions and solution strategies.
• Highlight ACI’s payment orchestration capabilities to facilitate smarter routing, decision-making, and performance enhancement.
• Define and communicate business outcomes, including: fraud reduction, risk mitigation, authorization improvement, revenue recovery, and enhanced customer experience and checkout performance.
• Conduct consultative discovery workshops to identify critical pain points within payments, fraud, and risk sectors.
• Create comprehensive solution strategies that integrate payments, fraud detection, and data intelligence.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to advance and secure strategic deals.
• Develop persuasive executive narratives, proposals, and ROI models.
• Provide thought leadership on industry trends, including fraud evolution, regulatory impacts (like PSD2/3), and payment innovation.
• Work alongside Product and Product Marketing teams to influence roadmap direction and market positioning based on customer insights.
• 5–10+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: fraud & risk management (e.g., fraud detection, decision-making, chargebacks), payment intelligence/optimization (e.g., authorization uplift, routing strategies), and merchant payments (acquiring, gateways, orchestration, wallets).
• Demonstrated experience in a consultative, customer-facing position (Solution Consulting, Pre-Sales, Advisory).
• Strong grasp of fraud prevention strategies and their trade-offs (approval vs. risk vs. customer friction).
• Understanding of payment performance factors (authorization rates, routing, issuer behavior).
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with payment orchestration platforms is a significant advantage.
• Capability to translate technical functionalities into clear business value and outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication abilities.
• Experience in constructing ROI cases, value models, and business justifications.
• Ability to challenge customer assumptions and guide strategic discussions.
• Experience collaborating with enterprise merchants in retail, eCommerce, or digital services.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (PSD2, SCA, etc.).
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to utilize analytics and insights to inform decisions.
• Comfortable operating in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.
