Senior Software QA Engineer, Manual Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Azerbaijan.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing on emerging technologies.

• Detect and address basic quality process concerns with minimal supervision and direction.

• Develop test scenarios and execute them throughout the testing phase.

• Discover bugs and document them following the bug template with adequate detail to enable developers to investigate further.

• Perform API testing utilizing tools such as Postman or Swagger to confirm request/response functionality.

• Communicate status updates to cross-functional teams.

• Carry out assigned tasks according to established guidelines and assist in resolving issues with defined solutions.

• Actively support the team.

• Hone your skills and apply them for a greater impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience utilizing manual testing tools and procedures in an agile setting.

• Practical experience in manual API testing (e.g., using Postman, Swagger, or comparable tools), including the validation of endpoints, status codes, and response payloads.

• Comprehensive understanding of QA principles.

• Solid grasp of the software development life cycle and lean/agile QA methodologies.

• Enjoy collaborating in a team environment and working with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.

• Proficient communication skills in English are essential.
