Senior Software QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist the Texas Education Agency with the CRM application initiative

• Conduct advanced and/or supervisory analysis of computer systems while leading a team

• Oversee the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance section

• Plan, budget, and evaluate user requirements, procedures, and issues to automate processes or enhance existing systems

• Collaborate with the CRM development team to deliver software testing services

• Examine user requirements, design documents, and additional documentation to create detailed test cases

• Develop, execute, and verify manual functional and regression test cases

• Document and report issues, test cases executed, test outcomes, and testing summaries

• Develop, execute, and verify automated test cases

• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data

• Collaborate with the development team and customers to comprehend functionality under test and define as well as implement test case automation

• Communicate the test automation strategy and progress to the team

• Conduct performance and accessibility testing

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of experience in testing complex web applications

• 6 years of experience with Microsoft Service Dynamics 365

• 6 years of expertise in SQL

• 4 years of experience with JMeter/WAPT Pro or similar load testing tools

• 4 years of automation experience using Java and TestNG

• 3 years of experience with Playwright

• 2 years of experience utilizing GitHub Copilot

• Preferred: 4 years of prior experience with Zypher Scale

• Preferred: 4 years of previous experience with Jira

• Preferred: 4 years of experience with Power BI

• Preference given to Texas-based candidates

• Services are expected to commence on 09/15/2026 and conclude on 08/31/2027

• Availability required Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays
