Senior Software QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design of test plans and the writing/execution of test cases for both functional and performance testing within the designated domain, utilizing Playwright with TypeScript for automation.

• Collaborate as part of the scrum team, engaging in planning, estimating, and validating user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of the specified domain areas.

• Create and execute automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.

• Regularly communicate status updates, metrics, and issues effectively.

• Comprehend and adhere to Revvity Signals practices.

• Assist in producing high-quality test summary reports with well-organized written content.

• Become an expert user of our products, recognizing their strengths and weaknesses, while advocating for customer concerns to improve their experience.

• Develop and implement integrated automated test cases with Playwright, collaborating with manual testers and their test cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or a science-related field.

• Over 7 years of experience in qualifying high-volume, scalable enterprise software.

• Strong experience working in an agile/scrum setting.

• Profound knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Quality Assurance life cycle, methodologies, and best practices.

• Extensive knowledge of test case management and bug tracking systems such as Jira and Zephyr.

• At least 5 years of experience with automation tools like Playwright, TestComplete, or Selenium.

• Familiarity with databases and data platforms.

• Experience in testing systems at a large scale is advantageous.

• Knowledge in developing API test frameworks.

• Proficiency in Playwright and Selenium for UI automation.

• Proven experience in converting manual test cases into automated ones.

• Background in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking, and reporting.

• Required development experience in Java, .NET, or TypeScript.
