Senior Software Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete project delivery process, starting from project initiation to planning, execution, monitoring, and final closure.

• Create detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation strategies, and necessary project documentation.

• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, Infrastructure, and DevOps professionals.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Organize project meetings, status updates, steering committee sessions, and executive presentations.

• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with established milestones, deliverables, and quality standards.

• Handle project risks, issues, change requests, and escalation processes effectively.

• Facilitate clear communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive management.

• Track project KPIs and generate regular progress reports for management and clients.

• Support both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies according to project needs.

• Ensure that projects adhere to organizational governance, security, and quality standards.

• Mentor junior project managers and project coordinators as needed.

• Foster continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the evolution of project management best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 7+ years of project management experience, preferably within the IT sector.

• Strong understanding of contemporary project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.

• Practical experience using project management tools like Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a significant advantage.

• A PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing enterprise software implementations or digital transformation projects.

• Background in collaborating with government entities or large enterprise clients is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.

• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
