This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead high-performing engineering teams that are tasked with creating and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions for critical Supply Chain and Retail platforms.
• Promote modern engineering methodologies, such as AI-driven development, data-informed operations, and a commitment to engineering excellence.
• Mentor engineering professionals, shape technical strategy, and manage essential vendor partnerships that contribute to product and platform success.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficient in an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java).
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive software engineering experience, including leading engineering teams and overseeing large-scale technology projects.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams that deliver cloud-native, highly scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions.
• Strong expertise in designing, developing, and operating Java-based applications, microservices, and REST APIs for high-volume, mission-critical systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams focused on Order Processing, Commerce, Supply Chain, Store Systems, or Selling platforms.
• Demonstrated success in promoting AI-driven software development practices, engineering automation, and initiatives aimed at enhancing engineering productivity.
• Experience in implementing Machine Learning-enabled business functionalities within enterprise-scale applications.
• Solid understanding of Spec-Driven Development, contemporary software engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures, containerization technologies, and public cloud platforms.
• Advanced skills in relational databases, SQL, performance tuning, and data-driven engineering operations.
• Strong abilities in troubleshooting, system monitoring, observability, and incident management.
• Proven capacity to quickly grasp complex business domains, distributed architectures, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing engineers and engineering leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Capability to translate enterprise technology strategy into actionable engineering roadmaps and successful execution plans.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage team capacity, prioritize investments, and balance workloads across multiple initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with Product Management and Architecture teams to define technical vision, solution strategy, and long-term platform evolution.
• Experience managing strategic vendor relationships and assessing third-party technologies to support engineering and business objectives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders and foster alignment across technical and business teams.
