Senior Software Engineer, Zone Procure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement intricate, high-impact features across the Zone platform.

• Spearhead AI integrations and determine suitable AI workflows for execution and troubleshooting.

• Assess technical trade-offs and select designs that minimize long-term complexity and maintenance burdens.

• Break down ambiguous requirements into phased execution strategies.

• Articulate the business implications of technical debt and architectural decisions to stakeholders.

• Refine vulnerable code paths and set elevated standards for review and documentation.

• Predict and address architectural bottlenecks.

• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code evaluations and design advice.

• Take ownership of and deliver on OKRs and KPIs, ensuring accountability for results, quality, and timelines.

• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and FinOps leaders.

• Establish frameworks for multi-entity consolidation and global tax compliance across NOAM, EMEA, and APAC.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Experience in Fintech, Payments, or ERP-integrated SaaS is highly advantageous.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from ambiguity to successful production deployment in a globally distributed setting.

• Strong judgment in verification processes.

• Experience in designing testable solutions for critical business logic.

• Proven effectiveness in fully remote, asynchronous, globally distributed environments with a high level of autonomy and disciplined self-direction.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.

• Capability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders across various time zones.
