Senior Software Engineer – Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee ticket management, prioritize backlogs, and coordinate sprint planning to guarantee timely delivery by the team.

• Implement agile workflows, eliminate obstacles for developers, and uphold a high development pace without sacrificing code quality.

• Collaborate closely with product management and business stakeholders to convert roadmap objectives into actionable technical assignments.

• Perform code reviews, offer constructive criticism, and nurture a collaborative, high-achieving engineering environment.

• Lead technical decision-making, solution architecture, and system design to ensure our platform remains scalable, maintainable, and secure.

• Produce clean, production-ready code for essential features, critical issues, and intricate architectural frameworks.

• Establish engineering best practices, uphold testing standards, and proactively address technical debt.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership capacity (such as Tech Lead, Scrum Master, or Engineering Manager).

• Strong proficiency in GoLang, Microservice Architecture, AWS/GCP, and contemporary system design.

• Demonstrated success in managing sprint commitments, estimation, tracking tools (Jira, Linear, GitHub Projects), and delivering software on schedule.

• Outstanding capability to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical team members and align business needs with execution.

• Must excel in fast-paced, sometimes uncertain environments.
