Senior Software Engineer – Team Lead, Blockchain Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and development of backend services and integrations among platform components.

• Lead integration initiatives between platform elements and blockchain layers.

• Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions.

• Provide guidance to the team on implementation, quality standards, and engineering best practices.

• Ensure consistency across services in a highly interconnected environment.

• Participate in system design, technical documentation, and diagram creation.

• Maintain code quality and reliability through testing and ongoing enhancements.

• Diagnose and resolve issues within distributed systems and integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend and distributed systems development.

• Substantial hands-on experience with blockchain-integrated systems and enterprise architecture design.

• Demonstrated ability to define and execute comprehensive blockchain architecture and integration strategies.

• Proficient in creating stand-alone blockchain developer tools and SDKs.

• Experience in directing Layer 2 initiatives (such as rollups, sidechains, and payment channels, when applicable).

• Skilled in designing token-based access control and billing architectures.

• Familiarity with wallet and transaction lifecycle design for production systems.

• Experience with cross-chain integration and interoperability strategies.

• Strong emphasis on scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness of blockchain components.

• Experience in building and managing microservices with multiple integrations.

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments (Docker).

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar tools).

• Knowledgeable in event-driven architecture and reliability patterns for distributed systems.

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and practical knowledge of Redis.

• Solid grasp of software architecture and system design principles.

• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code and implementing automated testing.

• Experience in producing technical documentation, including C4 and UML diagrams.

• Proven track record as a Technical/Team Lead with comprehensive ownership of delivery and technical decision-making.

• Hands-on experience with AI software development tools (such as Cursor and Claude Code), including the capacity to guide team adoption and ensure high-quality output at speed.

• Excellent communication, collaboration across functions, and stakeholder alignment abilities.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and adaptability to fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
