Senior Software Engineer – Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain applications, portals, and embeddable widgets using React.js.

• Create secure REST APIs and microservices utilizing C# and .NET Core.

• Execute business workflows and integrations with finance providers, partners, enterprise APIs, webhooks, file exchanges, and AWS services.

• Design and manage PostgreSQL and MongoDB schemas, queries, migrations, and data-access methodologies.

• Contribute to AWS workloads through EKS, Lambda, containers, and Step Functions or equivalent orchestration tools.

• Write unit, component, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests.

• Develop reusable UI components while enhancing accessibility, performance, and maintainability.

• Lead engineers and participate in API/event-contract design, code reviews, architecture discussions, and documentation.

• Assist in infrastructure automation with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.

• Implement logging, metrics, tracing, and alerts; diagnose issues across application layers.

• Collaborate with QA and operations teams on testing, release readiness, and recovery procedures.

• Engage with an orchestration platform for a global fintech company that facilitates embedded financial products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years in developing and supporting production software.

• Proficient in C#/.NET Core, focusing on REST APIs, dependency injection, async programming, testing, and secure coding practices.

• Practical experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, component architecture, state management, HTML, and CSS.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or comparable relational and document databases.

• Knowledge of microservices, API-first development, third-party integrations, and resilient distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.

• Capability to write automated unit and integration tests and troubleshoot UI, API, data, and cloud-related issues.

• Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

• Ability to convert requirements into maintainable and thoroughly documented solutions.

• Proven experience in providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

• A valid U.S. visa and the ability to travel to the U.S. for onboarding and knowledge transfer.

• Desirable: Familiarity with embeddable widgets, micro-frontends, white-label applications, or multi-tenant SaaS.

• Desirable: Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, ECS batch, S3, KMS, and certificate or secret management.

• Desirable: Exposure to Python services, data pipelines, and unit testing.

• Desirable: Experience with Terraform/Pulumi and GitOps tools like Argo CD.

• Desirable: Familiarity with Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, distributed tracing, and incident support.

• Desirable: Background in financial services, payments, embedded finance, lending, or banking.
