Senior Software Engineer – Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, and develop backend services, including our essential API that drives data processing and application functionalities.

• Primarily develop code using Scala.

• Advocate for technical design and coding standards that align with our platform and product roadmaps.

• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance our product’s architecture, whether through direct modifications or by creating tools, components, etc.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Ability to evaluate business requirements and identify the most suitable technical solutions.

• Experience collaborating with start-up teams.

• Proven experience in designing, creating, and maintaining backend APIs, ideally in a leadership capacity.

• Hands-on experience or a strong interest in modern functional programming with a focus on strongly-typed languages.

• Proficiency in data structures, database optimization, cloud infrastructure, and message queuing systems.

• Over 8 years of experience in Software Engineering.

• A strong sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for addressing challenging problems and delivering effective solutions.

• Excellent communication abilities, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A genuine passion for resolving complex issues.
