Senior Software Engineer, Sage Intacct

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain EBizCharge's native integration and payment workflows within Sage Intacct.

• Build and enhance features that support AR and AP payment processing, which includes invoice payments, payment requests, vendor payments, refunds, and reconciliation.

• Create solutions utilizing Sage Intacct APIs, SDKs, web services, and platform extensibility capabilities.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality features.

• Integrate payment processing functionalities, such as credit cards, ACH, virtual cards, and other electronic payment methods.

• Design secure and scalable architectures that comply with PCI regulations and ensure financial data security.

• Troubleshoot intricate integration issues related to ERP workflows, payment processing, synchronization, and accounting data.

• Develop technical documentation, deployment guides, and support resources.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release planning activities.

• Work closely with customer success and support teams to investigate and resolve escalated technical issues.

• Monitor integration performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software development experience in building ERP, accounting, or financial software integrations.

• At least 2 years of practical experience in developing solutions specifically for Sage Intacct.

• Strong knowledge of Sage Intacct APIs, Web Services API, Platform Services, and customization capabilities.

• Proficient in C#, .NET, REST APIs, and modern web technologies.

• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.

• Understanding of accounting principles, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and reconciliation processes.

• Experience integrating third-party payment gateways or financial services platforms.

• Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance and best practices for payment security.

• Experience with ACH, NACHA, card processing, tokenization, and payment reconciliation workflows.

• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and microservices architecture.

• Experience in Sage Intacct implementation, consulting, or certification.
