Senior Software Engineer, Python – Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain integration solutions utilizing Python to link OpenAEV and OpenCTI with various external platforms and services.

• Proficient in exploring and analyzing APIs to acquire a thorough understanding of external systems.

• Skilled in investigating third-party APIs and interpreting their functionality for effective integration with remote systems.

• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to collect requirements and establish integration strategies.

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of integration solutions by adhering to best coding practices and architectural decisions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues to maintain seamless interoperability between systems.

• Compose and sustain clear technical documentation for integration processes, APIs, and workflows.

• Review code and mentor other engineers to foster knowledge sharing and uphold high-quality standards.

• Stay informed on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve integration capabilities.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our development processes and integration frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, emphasizing Python and system integration.

• Strong technical expertise in Python, API design, and integration of complex platforms.

• Deep interest in AI and its applications within cybersecurity.

• Comfortable utilizing AI-driven tools (LLMs, automation, copilots, etc.) to enhance workflows and productivity.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and foster a positive team environment.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a proactive, solution-focused approach.

• Comfortable operating in a remote, async-first environment and collaborating across different time zones.

• Bonus: Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, familiarity with or interest in OpenBAS, OpenCTI, or similar integration platforms, security in integrations, or mentoring junior engineers.
