Senior Software Engineer – Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance backend applications using Python, prioritizing quality, scalability, and maintainability.

• Create integrations among various products, platforms, and both internal and external services.

• Engage in defining and refining the technical architecture of solutions.

• Uphold engineering best practices, which include automated testing, observability, documentation, and code reviews.

• Collaborate with developers, Product Managers, and Product Designers to develop scalable solutions.

• Utilize AI tools as development accelerators while ensuring high standards for code quality, security, and maintenance.

• Develop an agent builder that can interact through natural language, templates, and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development using Python.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.

• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, including SOLID, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.

• Familiarity with relational databases and/or NoSQL.

• Experience in automated testing, code reviews, and collaborative development practices.

• Ability to operate autonomously in dynamic environments characterized by high experimentation and ambiguity.

• Plus: experience with applied AI, particularly LLMs, prompt engineering, MLOps, or LLMOps.

• Plus: experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog.

• Plus: understanding of messaging and asynchronous processing frameworks like Kafka and Pub/Sub.
