Senior Software Engineer, Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, deliver, and take ownership of comprehensive product features utilized by thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of end-users.

• Collaborate across frontend, backend, and data domains, making informed trade-offs to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality systems.

• Assume responsibility from problem identification through production deployment and ongoing maintenance.

• Combine robust engineering principles with sound judgment, ensuring correctness, reliability, and scalability are not sacrificed for speed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including management of production systems.

• Strong foundation in engineering principles: data modeling, debugging, code organization, and testing.

• Proficient in web development basics, including:

• Fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Component-based UI design and state management.

• Experience with MVC-style web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, or similar).

• Understanding of HTTP and browser-server interactions.

• Proven experience in building and deploying user-facing web applications.

• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar); note that the interview process will focus on React, so please prepare accordingly.

• Comfort in reasoning about complex SQL queries and ensuring data integrity.

• Ability to thrive in a fully remote, asynchronous work environment.

• Proactive attitude: you identify issues, suggest enhancements, and see them through to completion.
