This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Take charge of the frontend architecture for applications catering to internal, customer, and partner audiences.
• Create integrations between applications and the managed backend, incorporating both swift interactions and extended review or approval processes.
• Develop a multi-tenant theming and branding framework for unique organization-specific experiences within a single codebase.
• Define standards for accessibility, code quality, and documentation.
• Establish engineering patterns that facilitate the application suite's growth as the team expands.
• Collaborate with the Axiom team, engineers, and technical leaders throughout Prescryptive.
• Address open design queries and make lasting technical decisions.
• Create production software and frontend foundations for Axiom applications.
• Over 8 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Extensive expertise in React.
• Strong command of TypeScript.
• Experience with MUI (Material UI) or a similar design system, such as Ant Design or Chakra.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining a shared component library and theming system.
• Experience in establishing a design system or component library from a minimal, near-zero starting point.
• Proven track record in developing multi-tenant or white-label frontend architecture with customer- or organization-specific theming and branding.
• Practical accessibility experience, including ARIA patterns, keyboard navigation, and screen reader testing.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, like Claude Code or similar tools.
• Experience building against well-governed, strongly typed APIs.
• Proven ability to create interfaces for both quick interactions and lengthy review or approval workflows.
• History of working with regulated or sensitive data, such as healthcare or financial information.
• Strong written communication skills and capability to document architecture and technical decisions.
• Ability to independently address evolving architecture and open design challenges.
• Conceptual understanding of policy or authorization engines (ideally).
• Experience in developing both an internal tool and an external customer-facing product (ideally).
