Senior Software Engineer, Payment Squad

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement scalable, secure, and dependable payment processing solutions.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate payment gateways and financial services.

• Enhance system performance and resolve intricate issues within production environments.

• Maintain PCI compliance and apply industry-standard security protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, particularly focusing on backend systems.

• Strong expertise in Java, Go, or Python programming languages.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.

• Comprehensive understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

• In-depth knowledge of payment processes, including authorization, tokenization, settlement, and reconciliation, in a secure and distributed backend environment.

• Extensive understanding of Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements and experience in creating systems for the secure management of sensitive financial information, ensuring consistency and auditability.

• Prior experience in the fintech or payments sector.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems.

• Background in restaurant, retail, or POS environments and understanding of store group hierarchies, check data, or tag-based filtering.

• Acquainted with Azure DevOps tools, along with the Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence, Rovo, etc.).
