Senior Software Engineer – .NET/Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Create and implement dependable, maintainable services using C#/.NET, Java, or Python within IIS, containerized settings, and cloud environments.

• Take ownership of the entire service delivery lifecycle, which includes coding, GitHub Actions CI/CD processes, deployments, and production monitoring.

• Develop and manage Docker and Kubernetes workloads, including Dockerfiles, Helm charts, and manifests.

• Deploy and oversee services on Azure, GCP, and AWS utilizing compute, storage, secrets management, and configuration services.

• Set up AppDynamics and Grafana for observability, alerts, PromQL and LogQL queries, along with ServiceNow/xMatters escalation policies.

• Write and sustain Playwright integration, end-to-end tests, and SQL assertion suites.

• Integrate LLM APIs and assess AI-assisted code review or test-generation pipelines.

• Engage in on-call rotations and address production incidents as they arise.

• Contribute to API design, SQL Server schema development, service dependency mapping, and cloud resource architecture.

• Collaborate with product owners, clinical stakeholders, and infrastructure engineers to provide production-ready solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience with C#, .NET, Java, Python, or similar programming languages.

• Strong understanding of IIS-hosted web applications, REST API design, and both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Experience in authoring or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus, or similar tools.

• Proficiency in working within a cloud-hybrid environment, utilizing Azure, GCP, or AWS and JFrog Artifactory.

• Excellent debugging and production troubleshooting capabilities.

• Familiarity with APM or log aggregation tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, or Grafana.

• Knowledge of TypeScript/Angular for internal tools or administrative UIs.

• Understanding of ServiceNow change management and on-call processes.

• Awareness of HIPAA compliance regulations and practices for handling PHI.

• Knowledge of Epic, Bridges interfaces, Patient Access, Professional Billing Resolute, or equivalent modules.

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; or 6+ years of progressive software engineering experience in a production environment in place of a degree.
