Senior Software Engineer – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Define the technical strategy for the Installation Manager, focusing on architecture, release quality, performance, and long-term sustainability.

• Deliver reliable, thoroughly tested mobile features and assist the team in establishing a robust automated testing and continuous release workflow.

• Mentor and develop the engineers around you, sharing your knowledge beyond your immediate role.

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to transform genuine field feedback into an improved product.

• Assist in troubleshooting the complex and intriguing challenges associated with hardware-connected applications in real-world scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in building, deploying, and maintaining mobile applications in a production environment (any tech stack; Flutter is not mandatory).

• A true testing mindset: you have created or championed automated testing and continuous delivery practices.

• You communicate transparently and proactively, thriving in a remote, asynchronous team environment.

• You uplift your peers and value the craft just as much as the results.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Nice to have (entirely optional, so feel free to apply even if you lack these):

• Experience with Flutter or other cross-platform mobile technologies.

• Background in developing for users who are not digital natives (our users operate in the field, not at desks).

• Cloud / DevOps experience, preferably with Google Cloud.

• Experience in API design or a broader scope beyond mobile (backend, frontend, infrastructure).

• Interest in climate technology.
