Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain machine learning models and algorithms to address complex business challenges.

• Detect patterns, trends, and anomalies within data.

• Utilize appropriate tools to visualize insights.

• Evaluate machine learning model performance through relevant metrics, validation techniques, and testing datasets.

• Enhance models via hyperparameter tuning, feature selection, and regularization to boost accuracy, performance, and scalability.

• Collect, clean, analyze, and derive meaningful insights from data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional software development experience, particularly in machine learning.

• Extensive experience with machine learning algorithms, techniques, and best practices.

• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including coding, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

• Preferred: Over 5 years of professional software development experience, with a specialization in machine learning.

• Preferred: Degree (BS/MS/PhD) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Preferred: Strong familiarity with machine learning algorithms and best practices.

• Preferred: Experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

• Preferred: Knowledge of deep learning architectures and techniques, including CNNs, RNNs, LSTM, and GANs.

• Preferred: Experience with NLP techniques and tools, including tokenization, stemming, lemmatization, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, NLTK, SpaCy, or BERT.
