Senior Software Engineer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Strategize and implement the development of scalable and secure software designed to manage large data volumes and critical applications.

• Assess, discuss, and define system architecture while suggesting enhancements and fostering technical coherence and uniformity across business operations.

• Spearhead the design and deployment of new features and products aimed at simplifying and enhancing customer experience productivity, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up.

• Evaluate the impacts and risks associated with application modifications.

• Establish and track quality and performance metrics for the applications developed.

• Collaborate with the Information Security team to guarantee the reliability of the platform.

• Contribute to the advancement of the team’s technical processes, incorporating methodologies such as Dojo and Pair Programming.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing microservices.

• Proficient in Cloud Computing, preferably with AWS.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and a focus on continuous improvement.

• Experience in DevOps practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

• Experience in software version control.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.

• Familiarity with API architecture, documentation, and implementation.

• Experience in modeling and integrating with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Acquainted with distributed, resilient, scalable, and high-performance architectures.

• Experience with message brokers and streaming technologies.

• Awareness of software quality best practices, including automated testing, security measures, monitoring, and documentation.

• Knowledge of distributed batch processing techniques.
