This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with internal teams throughout the organization to analyze workflows, pinpoint bottlenecks, and design AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable efficiency improvements.
• Manage the entire process from discovery and prototyping to deployment, user adoption, measurement, and iteration.
• Develop and enhance AI-powered tools, agents, and automations that integrate with Python and Java-based microservices, as well as web and mobile applications and third-party systems.
• Lead the integration and adoption of agentic software development practices within the engineering team.
• Assess new AI tools, models, and methodologies; conduct experiments and transform successful strategies into internal capabilities.
• Establish and monitor impact metrics such as time saved, throughput, quality, and cost.
• Present findings to stakeholders and leadership.
• Work collaboratively to create and refine technical designs and solutions alongside engineering team members.
• Partner with data science, product management, design, security, operations, and behavioral health teams.
• Advocate for software development best practices and uphold quality and security standards, including the responsible management of sensitive data in AI workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Over 6 years of experience in developing enterprise or consumer web applications, preferably using Python or Java/Spring.
• Practical experience building with large language models (LLMs) in production settings, including agentic tools and frameworks, prompt and context engineering, evaluations, and development workflows utilizing Claude and Codex.
• Ability to engage directly with non-engineering stakeholders, gather requirements, translate vague business challenges into deployed software, and drive adoption.
• Strong discernment regarding where AI genuinely enhances processes versus where it may introduce risk or confusion, particularly in a healthcare environment.
• Highly proactive and self-motivated with the capability to work independently.
• Competence in contributing across design, product, front-end, back-end, and quality assurance.
