This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and sustain the native iOS Bitwarden application.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure feature consistency across clients.
• Empower the team and others to create secure, high-performance, user-centric software.
• Establish yourself as a knowledgeable authority on the iOS codebase.
• Design, refine, and execute large-scale, complex iOS projects.
• Tackle challenging technical issues with minimal oversight.
• Facilitate architectural discussions and present design options along with their trade-offs.
• Investigate and fix intricate bugs.
• Perform thorough code reviews, identifying architectural and performance issues.
• Champion technical standards focused on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Mentor fellow engineers and aid in their professional growth.
• Engage in the hiring process through technical interviews and evaluations.
• Recognize technical debt and risks, strategize mitigations, and communicate possible delays.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in iOS development.
• Occasionally contribute bug fixes or assist with community pull requests.
• Proven experience in developing intricate iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Strong grasp of iOS UI/UX design and architectural principles.
• Capability to lead architectural discussions and evaluate trade-offs.
• Familiarity with unit testing, UI testing, and snapshot testing.
• Experience utilizing Claude Code or a similar generative AI coding platform.
• Background in iOS Extensions and TestFlight.
• Ability to work autonomously with vague requirements.
• Competence in collaborating with Product and Design to generate comprehensive solutions.
• Experience mentoring engineers and enhancing technical standards through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Ability to work collaboratively across QA, Product, and Design to ensure team alignment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and documentation capabilities.
• A collaborative and adaptable mindset.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
