Senior Software Engineer II – DSM Methodology Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, scale, and sustain backend systems capable of handling large data volumes.

• Engage in event-driven and API-centric integrations.

• Assist in transitioning towards a more domain-oriented and scalable architecture.

• Create and enhance software for workflows that demand high performance.

• Analyze technical issues and suggest solutions in collaboration with the team.

• Work closely with colleagues in data science and engineering to develop technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in backend software engineering, demonstrating strong technical expertise.

• Knowledge of heavy data processing tools and technologies such as Spark, the Apache ecosystem, Delta Lake, Parquet, Kafka, and Avro.

• Proficiency in Python and/or PySpark.

• Experience in creating or managing complex, high-volume systems.

• Familiarity with Docker, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with REST APIs and event-driven integrations.

• Ability to work in high-throughput and low-latency production-critical environments.
