Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop sustainable, high-quality solutions, managing the process from initial discovery to final delivery.

• Suggest technical solutions, question existing practices, and promote ongoing enhancements in business workflows.

• Convert intricate business rules into code, including commission calculations, partner activation, time windows, and feature flags.

• Create and enhance scalable, asynchronous solutions utilizing the AWS ecosystem.

• Assist in the continuous migration of legacy services towards modern architectures.

• Assess ecosystem effects and integration with other teams.

• Balance technical excellence with project timelines and business viability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced in software development using TypeScript/Node.js, particularly with NestJS.

• Solid background in cloud-distributed systems, including containers, message queues, and both relational and non-relational databases.

• In-depth understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

• Proficient in unit and integration testing.

• Experience in conducting code reviews.

• Comfortable with Docker/containerization and using git/gitflow.

• Ability to comprehend complex business rules and convert them into clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Product-oriented mindset with the ability to weigh technical quality, timelines, and business feasibility.

• Adaptable and willing to learn in various contexts.

• Experience with serverless architecture and AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB) is a plus.

• Familiarity with financial services, payments, or sales-focused products is an advantage.

• Experience as a technical mentor and reference for the team is a plus.

• Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach are advantageous.

• Knowledge of A/B testing, Amplitude, or similar analytics tools is a plus.

• Practical experience using AI tools in daily tasks is a plus.
