Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage scalable SaaS applications from start to finish, encompassing frontend, backend, and data layers.

• Produce reliable, clear, efficient, and testable production-quality code.

• Perform thorough code reviews and ensure extensive documentation is maintained.

• Design architectures that are ready for the future and proactively address system deficiencies.

• Enhance system availability and performance throughout the technology stack.

• Investigate, assess, and resolve issues related to reliability.

• Promote enhancements in the performance and efficiency of software, systems, and processes.

• Integrate unit, integration, and contract testing early and continuously throughout the development lifecycle.

• Utilize and advocate for AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude.

• Foster team-wide engineering best practices and mentor other engineers.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into user-friendly interfaces and make informed technical decisions.

• Advocate for engineering best practices across various teams and tackle complex, high-impact challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience developing reliable, high-performance applications and microservices in production settings.

• Demonstrated fluency in full-stack development, covering frontend, backend, and database layers.

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Node.js, or React.js is highly advantageous.

• Proven experience in frontend development with React.js.

• Technical expertise in at least one area such as distributed systems, multi-tenant SaaS, application databases, networking, security, serverless architecture, or event streaming.

• A strong desire to create intuitive, customer-centric products.

• A mindset of curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to teaching and supporting others.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit for sharing ideas across teams.
