Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend code that supports features utilized by 5 million users.

• Create backend systems using TypeScript.

• Engage regularly in code reviews and various team activities.

• Provide technical leadership and assist in guiding the team’s technical trajectory.

• Mentor and frequently collaborate with other engineers.

• Collaborate with product management and design teams to establish feature specifications.

• Develop products utilizing frameworks such as React.js and React Native.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field; other majors may be considered with relevant experience and/or training.

• Over 4 years of experience in software engineering, specifically in building full stack applications.

• Strong fundamentals in computer science and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go.

• Familiarity with a modern UI framework to create user-centric interfaces.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to both give and receive constructive feedback.

• Knowledge of monitoring and metrics tools.

• Experience in an Agile development setting.

• Capability to discuss and explain system architecture and component design.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

• Experience with Node.js is advantageous.

• Experience in developing production mobile applications with React Native is beneficial.

• Background in a start-up environment is a plus.
