Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack, Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement production-quality full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, and internal tools.

• Incorporate pre-release and cutting-edge AI model APIs into software solutions, including tool interfaces, evaluation frameworks, telemetry, and necessary infrastructure.

• Engage in development across backend services, APIs, databases, frontend applications, cloud infrastructure, and deployment environments.

• Create applications and testing frameworks to assess model capabilities and uncover performance, reliability, integration, and usability challenges.

• Identify technical and model-related issues and document insights for engineering and research teams.

• Convert evolving requirements into functional software while delivering high-quality iterations swiftly.

• Collaborate with engineering managers and developers on architecture, code quality, testing, documentation, and maintainability.

• Take ownership of software systems from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, debugging, and continuous enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional software engineering experience in building and delivering production systems.

• Strong production expertise in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Rust, C#, or C++.

• Significant professional experience in delivering software in a second programming language or ecosystem.

• Full-stack experience encompassing backend services and API development.

• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React or equivalent.

• Experience in database and data-model design.

• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and deployment practices.

• Experience in production operations and system reliability.

• Proven experience in owning software systems from deployment through monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement.

• Ability to quickly grasp unfamiliar architectures, repositories, development environments, and technical requirements.

• Demonstrated career growth with increasing technical responsibilities.

• Knowledge of testing, version control, code review, debugging, system design, and technical documentation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to reliably commit to 40 hours per week during weekdays.

• Experience with AI/ML systems, LLM APIs, AI coding tools, or model evaluation workflows is a plus.
