Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack Engineer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain customer-facing applications throughout the Discover platform.

• Construct responsive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Advance and refine features across various frontend applications and shared component libraries.

• Integrate and consume GraphQL and REST APIs within contemporary frontend architectures.

• Contribute to the progression of the micro-frontend and platform architecture.

• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to provide customer value.

• Take ownership of features from design to production deployment.

• Assist in CI/CD pipelines and frontend delivery processes.

• Promote engineering enhancements, automation, and operational excellence.

• Engage in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture dialogues.

• Aid in constructing customer journeys for discovering investments, comparing savings products, searching financial instruments, and completing account opening and transfer processes.

• Proficient in React, TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, Zustand, and Tailwind CSS.

• Familiarity with React Testing Library and Playwright.

• Knowledge of modern component-based architecture patterns.

• Experience in developing customer-facing web applications.

• Background in consuming GraphQL APIs within frontend applications.

• Experience in building GraphQL-driven user experiences.

• Familiarity with GraphQL schemas and API contracts.

• Experience integrating frontend applications with GraphQL and REST services.

• Experience developing applications in API-first environments.

• Understanding of backend architectures and API integration patterns.

• Exposure to Node.js.

• Experience with REST API integration.

• Experience working across both frontend and backend technologies.

• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub or GitLab workflows, modern software delivery practices, code reviews, and collaborative development.

• Desirable: experience with micro-frontend architectures, Module Federation, performance optimization, frontend observability, design systems, shared component libraries, Contentful or other headless CMS platforms, Typesense, Elasticsearch, LaunchDarkly or feature flagging platforms, OAuth and authentication flows, analytics integration, Grafana or similar observability platforms, accessibility-first development, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Infrastructure as Code concepts.

• Nice to have: experience in financial services, familiarity with PHP-based platforms and services, and experience in large-scale digital product organizations.
