This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Take ownership of projects from inception to completion — encompassing requirements, architecture, implementation, delivery, and post-launch support.
• Act as the technical lead and primary engineering liaison for clients.
• Effectively communicate with clients and internal teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Decompose complex tasks and delegate responsibilities efficiently to other engineers.
• Leverage AI agents and AI-assisted workflows to enhance productivity and speed of delivery.
• Assist sales, architects, and leadership with discovery processes, estimations, and providing technical direction.
• Focus on critical paths to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within defined scope.
• Develop high-quality front-end and back-end code.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to establishing engineering standards.
• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers through constructive feedback, pairing, and review sessions.
• Proactively identify technical and delivery risks and communicate them effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers to manage project scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Over 5 years of experience in building and deploying production web applications.
• Proven ability to lead projects and take ownership of results.
• Strong full-stack development experience — both front-end and back-end.
• Professional experience with React or another contemporary JavaScript framework.
• Solid experience with PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP) and common design patterns.
• Extensive experience with Drupal (versions 8/9/10) — including custom modules, theming, and site building.
• Familiarity with Drupal migrations.
• Strong understanding of Git and modern development workflows.
• Experience with integrating external APIs and third-party systems.
• Comfortable working with SQL and database-driven applications.
• Proficient with command-line tools such as Drush.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, particularly in client-facing situations.
• Good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously.
