📋 Description

• Create and implement systems and platforms, featuring user-friendly interfaces.

• Develop Go services and APIs to integrate multiple data sources.

• Design data models and architectures for interconnected systems.

• Transform data into informative dashboards and visual representations.

• Incorporate LLM-powered functionalities into daily workflows.

• Draft specifications, estimate tasks, and deliver according to set criteria.

• Maintain high standards in code reviews, testing, and documentation.

• Collaborate with non-technical team members to convert requirements into effective tools.

• Mentor engineers and enhance team productivity.

• Utilize experimentation and analytics to derive insights into the business and talent landscape.

• Gather metrics and refine processes and workflows across Canonical.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge in at least two of the following areas: back-end services in Go; contemporary front-end engineering (React/Svelte/TypeScript); data engineering and analytics; data visualization; practical application of LLM/ML in operational workflows.

• Approach testing, security, performance, and accessibility as integral components of the role.

• Manage sensitive personal data responsibly.

• Communicate effectively and function well within a distributed team.

• Take ownership of work from initial specification through to production.

• Preferred: Experience with Python, Go, React, Svelte, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, or a background in developing tools for HR, finance, or operations.
