Senior Software Engineer, Developer Tools for Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development of profiling tools within the Nsight suite.

• Design and execute features aimed at collecting, analyzing, and visualizing performance profiling data in both cluster and cloud settings.

• Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements, user needs, and expectations.

• Utilize expertise in hardware and software to provide valuable features for users.

• Work together with team members across different time zones.

• Interact with both internal and external users to help them maximize product value and relay feedback to the product team.

• Operate throughout the entire product feature lifecycle, from initial prototypes to user demonstrations.

• Contribute to system design, frontend, and backend development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional problem-solving, collaborative, and interpersonal abilities.

• Experience in working within distributed teams is preferred.

• Capability to operate across the entire technology stack.

• Proficiency in server-side development using Python.

• Experience in frontend development with JavaScript.

• Proficient in C++, Rust, or Go, with a willingness to develop some features in C++.

• Proven experience working with Kubernetes and in distributed environments.

• Solid understanding of algorithms and computer architecture.

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related software role.

• Background in GPUs, CUDA, HPC, clusters, networking, and performance optimization in cloud environments.

• Experience in deploying and maintaining microservices.

• Familiarity with building web APIs and GraphQL.

• Proficiency in Datadog, ClickHouse, and Grafana.

• Experience with Go and Rust.
