Senior Software Engineer, Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, and deploy full-stack features utilizing React, Java/Spring Boot, and Python.

• Develop responsive and reusable UI components and workflows within React.

• Construct and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs and backend microservices.

• Implement integrations between internal applications and external vendor platforms.

• Develop and enhance chatbot user interfaces in React applications.

• Create conversational UI features, including message streams, interaction flows, response rendering, user input handling and validation, and real-time backend integration.

• Ensure that the chatbot UI provides a seamless, intuitive, and accessible user experience.

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications utilizing Azure or AWS.

• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

• Collaborate with architecture and platform teams on aspects of security, performance, and monitoring.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, including standups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Work closely with product owners, engineers, architects, and business teams to refine requirements.

• Maintain code quality through unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews.

• Apply best practices for security, maintainability, and performance.

• Engage in design and architectural discussions, taking partial ownership of technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of professional experience in full-stack development.

• Strong practical expertise in React and TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Python for backend APIs and microservices.

• Practical experience in building chatbot UI features in a production environment.

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native principles.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DocumentDB.

• Experience in RESTful API design and integration.

• Experience with cloud platforms; Azure is preferred, while AWS is also acceptable.

• Knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, and operational best practices.

• Background investigation is required.

• Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home.

• Reliable internet connection is required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
