Senior Software Engineer – Connect Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain API integrations with OEMs and energy partners, ensuring their reliability, performance, and thorough testing.

• Enhance the connectivity platform by minimizing incidents and advancing observability, monitoring, and alerting, along with the automations and internal tools that facilitate this process.

• Undertake complex projects and guide them to completion, breaking them into actionable tasks and delivering results with minimal supervision.

• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and observability, showing concern for the overall state of the codebase beyond just your contributions.

• Collaborate with product teams to align platform priorities, balancing the need for stability with timely delivery.

• Assume responsibility beyond your individual tasks and support your fellow engineers, sharing insights and contributing to technical decisions that keep the team unified.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess experience in writing maintainable, testable backend code, preferably in an environment rich in API or integration work.

• You are passionate about platform engineering from a product perspective, focusing on building the connectivity layer that facilitates integrations rather than managing infrastructure or CI/CD pipelines.

• You take pleasure in creating new integrations and enhancing the reliability and observability of existing systems, approaching debugging systematically across services to prevent recurring issues.

• You communicate effectively, engage in technical discussions, and can clarify complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

• You take initiative beyond your personal responsibilities and are invested in the team's success. You share knowledge, assist teammates, and contribute to improving team operations.
