Senior Software Engineer – C# / .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of features within Inventory Lab’s C# and .NET-based systems, overseeing them from initial design to production.

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend services, APIs, and application components utilizing C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Construct and uphold dependable, high-performance web applications and services using ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core.

• Create front-end features with Vue.js and TypeScript, focusing on responsive and maintainable user interfaces.

• Deliver full-stack features comprehensively, from backend services and data models to front-end components and application state management.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable and high-performing features are delivered.

• Enhance existing systems, troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.

• Engage in technical discussions and contribute to the evolution of architecture within the domain.

• Elevate engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews.

• Support Inventory Lab, a product designed for e-commerce sellers to manage inventory, listings, accounting, and operational workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong proficiency in C# along with experience in building production-grade applications.

• In-depth knowledge of the .NET platform, including its runtime, libraries, and application development ecosystem.

• Experience in developing web applications and backend services using ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core.

• Familiarity with modern web applications using Vue.js or React, including component-based architecture and reusable components.

• Proven experience in creating responsive, accessible user interfaces and integrating front-end applications with REST APIs while maintaining backend services.

• Solid grasp of system design, application architecture, and scalable software development patterns.

• Experience with SQL databases, relational data models, and query optimization.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or Azure.

• Experience in debugging production systems, investigating root causes, and independently resolving issues.

• Comfortable utilizing Git, participating in code reviews, engaging in automated testing, and collaborating within development workflows.

• Ability to work effectively within an existing codebase and enhance code quality without unnecessary complexity.

• Strong ownership mindset, pragmatic technical decision-making, clear communication, and effective cross-team collaboration.
