Senior Software Engineer – C#, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take charge of features within Inventory Lab’s C# and Java-based systems, overseeing everything from the initial design phase to production.

• Design and create clean, scalable services, APIs, and maintainable, well-tested, high-performance components.

• Work independently within a defined scope while making informed technical decisions.

• Enhance systems, troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to the evolution of architecture within the domain.

• Perform thorough code reviews.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to develop features and improvements that provide value to customers.

• Support Inventory Lab, a tool utilized by e-commerce sellers for managing inventory, listings, accounting, and operational workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in C# and Java.

• Experience in building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and scalable application components.

• Comprehensive understanding of REST APIs, system design, and scalable application patterns.

• Familiarity with SQL databases and data modeling.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.

• Proven experience in debugging production systems and resolving issues autonomously.

• Comfortable using Git, conducting code reviews, and engaging in team-based development.

• Ability to navigate an existing codebase and enhance quality without unnecessary complexity.
