Senior Software Engineer – C#, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take charge of features within Inventory Lab’s C# and Java-based platforms from the initial design phase to production.

• Create and develop clean, scalable services, APIs, and maintainable, well-tested, high-performance components.

• Work independently within a defined scope and make informed technical decisions.

• Enhance systems, troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement long-lasting solutions.

• Engage in technical discussions and advance architecture within the domain.

• Perform thorough code reviews.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to develop features and improvements that add value for customers.

• Support Inventory Lab, a product utilized by ecommerce sellers for managing inventory, listings, accounting, and operational workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in C# and Java.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and scalable application components.

• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, system design, and scalable application patterns.

• Experience with SQL databases and data modeling.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.

• Skilled in debugging production systems and resolving issues independently.

• Comfortable using Git, conducting code reviews, and participating in team-based development.

• Ability to navigate an existing codebase and enhance quality without over-engineering.
