This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Taking complete responsibility for features — from refinement and design through development, testing, and production delivery
• Developing and maintaining modern, scalable microservices in C# and .NET (8+) operating on Azure Kubernetes Service
• Contributing across the entire stack — backend services, Angular UI, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines — wherever assistance is needed
• Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code while upholding standards through code reviews
• Creating and executing test cases, engaging in functional testing, and managing test plans using Azure DevOps
• Collaborating in 2-week sprints with a globally distributed team — taking part in refinement, demos, and retrospectives
• Instrumenting services with OpenTelemetry and utilizing Datadog to oversee the health of what you deliver
• Participating in on-call rotation as a primary responder for our services and the Kubernetes infrastructure that supports them — we manage the entire stack, not just the application layer
• Directly handling customer escalations — investigating, communicating, and resolving issues without intermediaries between you and customer impacts
• Utilizing AI coding tools to expedite development — we anticipate engineers to be adept in AI-assisted workflows
• Collaborating closely with architects, product managers, and teammates from Panama, Hungary, and other locations
• Extensive experience in C# and .NET (8+) with a focus on building production microservices at scale
• Strong understanding of CQRS, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems (Azure Service Bus or similar)
• Proficient with NoSQL databases — Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or similar
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools — Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Comfortable with containerization and orchestration technologies — Docker, Kubernetes, AKS
• Over 4 years of professional software engineering experience, with significant .NET microservices development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Excellent English communication skills — both written and verbal (our team is globally distributed)
• Self-motivated and capable of working asynchronously across different time zones
• Fully remote position
• Opportunity to work on a platform utilized by enterprises worldwide to manage secure access and identity
• Small enough team for your contributions to be recognized; large enough organization to provide genuine career advancement
• Engineering culture that values ownership, continuous improvement, and tangible results
