Senior Software Engineer, Blockchain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Designing and enhancing the architecture of blockchain products with an emphasis on scalability, security, and performance.

• Overseeing the development, auditing, and integration of smart contracts within decentralized protocols.

• Performing technical research and proof-of-concept (PoC) experiments while applying best practices in blockchain development.

• Creating and refining cross-chain interoperability solutions, including cross-chain swaps and bridges.

• Designing and developing efficient algorithms, prioritizing gas optimization.

• Establishing and implementing efficient CI/CD processes for blockchain development.

• Analyzing and mitigating potential attack vectors while ensuring adherence to security best practices.

• Continuously tracking emerging technologies in blockchain, Web3, and cryptocurrency.

• Conducting thorough code reviews, mentoring developers, and promoting best practices in blockchain engineering.

• Collaborating with auditors and cross-functional teams to achieve successful product launches.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development, including a minimum of 3+ years in blockchain engineering.

• Profound understanding of blockchain ecosystems, smart contracts (Solidity, Yul, EVM), and decentralized applications (dApps).

• Practical experience with Ethereum, Layer 2 solutions (Optimistic & ZK Rollups), and cross-chain protocols (atomic swaps, bridges, etc.).

• Demonstrated history of technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and mentoring development teams.

• Strong foundation in blockchain security and experience conducting smart contract audits.
