Senior Software Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality, scalable web applications by adhering to the best coding practices and crafting clean, well-structured code.

• Enhance, improve, and maintain the core product software along with its databases.

• Participate in ongoing enhancements through testing, performance optimization, refactoring, usability improvements, and automation.

• Create comprehensive specifications and engage in all stages of the engineering lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, PHP (Laravel), or Java is highly preferred.

• Experience in relational database design and integration with web databases (PostgreSQL). Familiarity with non-relational databases is an advantage.

• Skilled in development within a Linux server environment.

• Proven experience in writing RESTful APIs.

• Familiar with cloud-native application development, including "Docker, AWS, Kubernetes."

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
