Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and develop dependable, scalable frontend and backend systems that support both internal operations teams and external clients.

• Lead the technical strategy for the Client Portal domain, making architectural choices that facilitate multi-year platform consolidation.

• Take full ownership of services from start to finish: design, implementation, deployment, and on-call support.

• Create and sustain platform-level Entity Configuration infrastructure utilized by various domain teams across TrueML.

• Work collaboratively with domain teams to ensure effective cross-domain integration through event-driven patterns and legacy system integration.

• Play a key role in frontend architecture decisions as the portal evolves.

• Guide and mentor engineers while contributing to TrueML's engineering culture.

• Manage the OTP Client Portal, a Next.js mono-repo frontend that includes dashboards, inventory views, configuration management, and content authoring.

• Develop content management tools and a self-service CMS for creating, editing, and publishing communication templates, including GenAI-assisted writing through AWS Bedrock.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• At least 2 years in a senior or technical lead role.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and Next.js.

• Proficiency in Go.

• Experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, and ECR.

• Familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Solid understanding of API design, including OpenAPI/REST contracts and code generation.

• Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging patterns.

• Comfort in working across the entire stack.

• Proven track record of operating services with high reliability standards, including SLOs, runbooks, and incident response procedures.
