This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable software applications and systems.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver superior products.

• Mentor and offer technical guidance to colleagues and junior engineers, promoting a collaborative atmosphere and contributing to team development.

• Engage in code reviews and support team best practices.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance applications for optimal performance and scalability.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to systems and processes.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and practices to expedite delivery, enhance code quality, and document decision-making.

• Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a proven history of building and deploying complex software projects.

• Over 4 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proven experience delivering software to production environments, including ownership of features from design through deployment.

• Experience in developing large-scale, high-performance applications.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Expert-level proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, Java, GoLang).

• Strong expertise in relational databases.

• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

• Proficient in designing and implementing automated testing strategies.

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development tools.

• Practical experience using and integrating AI-based tools and workflows into the development lifecycle, understanding their capabilities, limitations, and establishing appropriate guardrails against inherent risks.

• Must reside in one of the following states: CA, CT, FL, IL, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, NC, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA.
