Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality full-stack applications utilizing TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, and C#/.NET as necessary.

• Create clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code that adheres to high standards of quality, accessibility, and performance.

• Directly engage with production systems while responsibly managing production data and ensuring strict adherence to GDPR compliance.

• Take charge of features from design through to deployment, delivering work autonomously within an agile engineering team.

• Review, question, and challenge requirements to confirm the appropriate solutions are crafted before the development process starts.

• Collaborate closely with designers to transform mockups into intuitive, user-friendly experiences while proactively identifying and addressing UX enhancements.

• Contribute to and uphold comprehensive automated test coverage using Jest and Vitest.

• Communicate blockers, risks, and technical challenges early to facilitate smooth project delivery.

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, retrospectives, demos, and story reviews.

• Adhere to a modern engineering workflow by submitting small, frequent pull requests and supporting multiple production releases each week.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code, as part of your daily engineering tasks.

• Collaborate within small, autonomous squads while sharing ideas in a flat, highly communicative team setting.

• Apply strong product insight and sound engineering judgment to deliver solutions that make a meaningful impact on users.

• Adapt to established engineering practices, embracing the team’s development processes and culture of continuous improvement.

• Proactively identify issues, suggest enhancements, and engage in technical discussions that improve product quality and delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a robust full-stack development background.

• 5+ years of practical experience with TypeScript and Node.js.

• 3+ years of experience with Next.js and/or React.

• 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or other relational databases.

• 3+ years of experience in building and deploying applications on AWS.

• 3+ years of experience in writing and maintaining automated tests using Jest and/or Vitest.

• 2+ years of experience with C#/.NET.

• Strong design sensibility with an eye for crafting intuitive user experiences.

• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, as part of the software development workflow.
