Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend services using PHP Laravel.

• Architect microservices and actively contribute to the evolution of our distributed systems.

• Integrate AI and LLMs to streamline workflows and minimize manual tasks for merchants.

• Take ownership of performance and reliability – we manage millions of shipments each month.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams from the discovery phase through to delivery.

• Write clean, tested, production-ready code and set high standards for the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development.

• Extensive knowledge of PHP Laravel – you are well-versed in the framework, not just the basic functionalities.

• Strong understanding of system design principles, clean architecture, and engineering trade-offs.

• Experience with microservices, asynchronous patterns, and distributed systems.

• A problem-solving mindset: logical, inquisitive, and focused on solutions.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience with SaaS products or platforms is highly appreciated.

• Strong advantage: Experience with AI/ML integration, LLMs, or intelligent automation.

• Familiarity with NodeJS or Python for backend development.
