Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Create and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable software across the entire stack.

• Collaborate with product managers to convert requirements into well-architected solutions and take ownership of features from start to finish.

• Develop intuitive and extensible user experiences utilizing modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.

• Design and launch new products and features while improving existing functionalities.

• Integrate automated testing and quality practices across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

• Engage in design and code reviews, promoting engineering best practices, performance, and maintainability.

• Diagnose complex systems, enhance performance, and reinforce reliability, observability, and production readiness.

• Share knowledge and best practices to encourage engineering excellence and ongoing improvement.

• Create intelligent, data-driven products that assist customers in measuring, communicating, and accelerating business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be an Australian citizen.

• Currently residing in Australia.

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.

• Willing to undergo and successfully complete the necessary security clearance assessment and adjudication process.

• Over 6 years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality products.

• Expertise in JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar object-oriented programming languages.

• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks, including React, Angular, or Vue.

• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns.

• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven experience using AI-powered tools or workflows, including validating datasets, model outputs, or ensuring inference consistency.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize performance across the stack.

• Knowledge of IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control, and Unix-based systems.

• Demonstrated capability to apply critical thinking when utilizing AI to enhance workflows, decision-making, and problem-solving.
