Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, and develop scalable platform components utilizing Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and React.

• Create and maintain distributed systems, real-time data pipelines, and essential microservices to facilitate platform expansion.

• Lead code and architecture reviews to ensure high standards of reliability, performance, and maintainability.

• Contribute to and promote the adoption of contemporary infrastructure practices — including CI/CD, containerization (Docker), ArgoCD, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.

• Take ownership of and deliver significant projects from start to finish, transforming business requirements and R&D insights into scalable technical solutions.

• Identify ways to minimize toil, enhance developer workflows, and boost system resilience.

• Construct systems with a long-term perspective — balancing rapid delivery with sustainability and technical excellence.

• Participate in production support responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on backend systems, platform services, or infrastructure.

• Proficiency in Node.js and contemporary development patterns (TypeScript/JavaScript).

• Extensive experience in designing and scaling distributed systems with a keen focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and deploying production-grade applications.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and containerization technologies (Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, New Relic).

• Strong fundamentals in computer science (including algorithms, data structures, systems design, and networking).

• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
