Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Become a member of the Architecture team to assist in developing and expanding Rho’s comprehensive finance platform.

• Collaborate using a technology stack that includes Python, Go, GraphQL, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Python, async programming, and performance optimization techniques.

• Proven experience in creating web applications and services that enhance product quality.

• Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures, including the trade-offs necessary to accommodate higher loads or reduce latency in applications.

• Experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Background in navigating complex, regulated environments while coordinating with various partners and stakeholders.

• Experience in a startup or large enterprise within a highly technical market, such as AI, security, finance, blockchain, or infrastructure.

• Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, Ruby, or similar programming languages.

• Expertise in building and deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with message brokers and event streaming platforms.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as GCP or AWS.

• Knowledge of finance, including an understanding of various payment networks like ACH, Fedwire, and SWIFT.

• Familiarity with accounting or financial software.

• Experience in mentoring junior engineers.
