This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
β’ Create, enhance, and sustain features that facilitate radiotherapy plan verification workflows, encompassing DICOM integration, image and dose visualization, plan visualization, DVH evaluation, and plan checks.
β’ Build efficient and reliable WPF desktop applications.
β’ Connect with oncology information systems through DICOM networking and associated clinical interfaces.
β’ Work alongside physicists and product leaders to convert clinical needs into functional software.
β’ Play a role in architecture, testing, code reviews, and technical decision-making processes.
β’ Assist colleagues through collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
β’ Propel the development of the ClearCheck application to enhance radiation oncology workflow efficiency, automation, and quality.
β’ Design, construct, and oversee .NET framework applications from initial analysis and design to coding and testing.
β’ Provide scalable solutions that enable cancer centers to enhance patient care.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a similar technical discipline.
β’ At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
β’ Strong expertise in C# and WPF, with a background in developing production-level desktop applications.
β’ Familiarity with DICOM data, including network operations or file processing, as well as 3D medical imaging.
β’ Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Preferred: experience in coding for large, complex systems such as radiotherapy treatment planning systems or CAD systems.
β’ Preferred: background in 3D modeling and visualization, geometric computing, numerical methods, coordinate systems, spatial transformations, and performance-focused software development.
β’ Preferred: experience in medical device software development.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or DICOM medical technology interfaces.
β’ Preferred: understanding of HIPAA regulations as they relate to software implementations.
