Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain APIs, services, and systems throughout R2.

• Take ownership of the product and solution architecture.

• Ensure adherence to best practices and maintain system uptime.

• Contribute to the establishment of company-wide standards and reliability.

• Deliver mission-critical systems within tight deadlines.

• Enhance the quality of the code delivered, aiming for a zero-bug policy.

• Investigate and invest in new tools to improve services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in building API-driven services, with a strong desire to code daily.

• Proficiency in distributed architecture patterns, particularly microservices.

• Experience in programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or Rust.

• Skilled in designing and implementing robust data models for production using relational databases (like PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, DynamoDB).

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab CI, Spinnaker, Jenkins, GoCD, Concourse).

• Experience in designing and implementing Event-Driven architectures.

• Practical knowledge of gRPC, Service Meshes (like Istio, Linkerd), and API Gateways.

• Familiarity with UI technologies such as React, GraphQL, and Server-side rendering.

• Experience in building integrations with third-party APIs/services is a significant advantage.
